AR Rahman will go live on air for the first time to launch the audio of Kaaviyathalaivan. The music composer who has completed 22 years in the film industry, revealed this through a tweet on his social media page.

Rahman has composed nearly 20 songs for Kaaviyathalaivan out of which only eight are full length tracks. Three songs from the film – teasers of Yaarumilla, Hey Mr Minor, and the full length track Vaanga Makka Vaanga have already been released by Sony Music, which has secured the audio rights. Directed by Vasanthabalan, the film set in the early thirties is about theatre artists from Tamil Nadu. Sashikanth of Y Not Studios has produced the film alongside Varun Manian of Radiance Media. Starring Siddharth, Prithviraj, Vedhikaa in lead roles, the film is almost complete and is currently in post production.
