The visuals of the film are brilliant for which the cinematography and editing department gets a hats off. However, the film takes time to catch momentum. Thankfully the jokes cracked by Yogi Babu and friends manage to engage the audience. The gana tracks and soulful numbers composed by K deserve special mention. They suit the mood of the film. On whole, Kirumi, written by M. Manikandan and Anucharan offers a neatly crafted, well packed realistic thrill ride in a commons man’s life!
Verdict: A perfect Madrasi thriller!
