Dilip Kumar is responding well to treatment and is expected to be discharged soon. The actor was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after a bout of dehydration and urinary tract infection. He was kept in the ICU for close to a week, following which he has recovered. A decision will be made soon regarding his discharge date.
Celebrities including Akshay Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar prayed for Dilip’s speedy recovery and sent the legendary actor their wishes through social media.

Actor Dileep Kumar’s police custody has been extended till August 22. The actor’s bail plea has been consistently denied, and as a result, he has been lodged in the Aluva sub-jail since his July 10 arrest.
An India Today report also says that the actor appeared in the court today via video conferencing. He was subsequently remanded to further custody.
