Adoor Gopalakrishnan has spoken out in support of actor Dileep. The director said:
“He’s neither an underworld kingpin nor a criminal or a person with the nerve to commit a crime. Whyare you all targeting him? What power do you have to do that in your capacity as journalists?”
Dileep was arrested in July this year for his alleged involvement in the kidnapping and assault of a popular Malayalam actress. He is currently lodged at the Aluva sub-jail.
