The yet-to-be-titled film will be shot and released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

It will be produced by Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banner Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP. The film will be the fourth production venture of the banner.

As per the press release, the film is likely to go on floors sometime this year. “The team is in talks with some very big names from various languages and a top-notch technical team which will be announced very soon. The film will be produced on a grand scale,” the makers said, adding that other details about the project will be unveiled at later stages of production.

It is to be noted that Kammula, who won the Best Debut Film of a Director at the 47th National Film Awards for Dollar Dreams (2000), will be working with Dhanush for the first time and the film also marks the filmmaker’s maiden trilingual project.

Kammula is currently awaiting the release of his Telugu romantic drama Love Story, also backed by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas and starring actors Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. The film, which was slated to release in theatres on April 16, was postponed due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown.
