Un Samayal Arayil Press Meet with Prakash Raj, Sneha and Ilaiyaraaja

Actress Sneha is the latest to join Director Mohan Raja’s upcoming film with Actor Sivakarthikeyan. This marks the first time the actress will be seen sharing screen space with Sivakarthikeyan. Produced by RD Raaja for 24 AM Studios, the film was announced late last year. Actress Nayanthara plays the female lead in the project.

According to an official press release from the team, Sneha will essay a ‘challenging role’ in the project. Director Mohan Raja said, “Actress Sneha will be essaying a very challenging role. She was keen on taking up this role, on hearing her characterisation”.

Sneha also believes that her role in the film will garner a lot of attention. “I always wanted by comeback film to be big. But I couldn’t have hoped for a bigger film than this. I am sure this character will garner a lot of attention”.

Rumoured to be a thriller, the untitled film will also mark Malayalm actor Fahaadh Faasil’s Tamil debut. The actor will play the antagonist in the movie. RJ Balaji, Sathish and Thambi Ramaiah have also been cast in the film, which is scheduled to go on the floors later this month.

Last seen in the 2014 Tamil film, ‘Un Samayal Arrayil’, actress Sneha has been quite inactive on the acting front since then. The actress took time off from her acting career following the birth of her son last year. All that is set to change though for earlier this month, Sneha signed a Malayaam film with actor Mammootty. Titled The Great Father, the film will be Sneha’s third with Mammotty and marks her return to the Malayalam film industry after a six year break.

Directed by Haneef Adani, Sneha will play the role of Mammootty’s wife in this project.
