After making her impact in the south film industry, Amyra Dastur is set to impress Bollywood with the announcement of multiple projects this year. The actress, who’s performance in Kaalakaandi early this year with Saif Ali Khan was noticed, now seems to have an interesting line up of films. She has already completed the shoot for Leena Yadav’s Rajma Chawal where she plays the rebellious love interest of Rishi Kapoor’s on-screen son.
Amyra will also be seen in psychological thriller, Mental Hai Kya, starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao. Sources suggest that Amyra Dastur has started shooting for the upcoming film. In fact, there are also reports that Amyra and not Kangana will be romancing Rajkummar Rao.

The film features Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in key roles.
Mental Hai Kya has been written by Kanika Dhillon and directed by National Award-winner Prakash Kovelamudi and produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Shaailesh R Singh’s Karma Media. Kovelamudi is a popular Telugu actor-filmmaker who bagged a National Award in 2006 for the film Bomelatta.
This will be the second time Rajkummar and Kangana will be seen together on screen after the 2013 entertainer Queen.
Earlier, Ekta Kapoor said in a press statement, “Mental Hai Kya celebrates the beauty in imperfections and in being different and shouts out, sanity is overrated! I’m thrilled to work with Kangana and Raj on this one.”
