An intern at the Four Frames mixing studio was arrested yesterday in connection with the leak of the first look teaser of Vijay’s Puli. The leaked version – apparently shot within the Four Frames sound mixing studio – was uploaded to YouTube before the official version was due to be released.

In response to a police complaint filed by the producers of the movie, the Chennai police arrested Mithun, an intern at the Four Frames studio. The case has now been shifted to the Cyber Crime Department. Following this incident, the makers of Puli decided to unveil the official teaser a day earlier than planned. The original plan was to release the teaser on Vijay’s birthday – June 22.
Puli directed by Chimbudevan stars Vijay, Hansika and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles while actors Sudeep and Sridevi are part of the supporting cast. Music director Devi Sri Prasad has scored the tunes for this fantasy. The movie is likely to release in September 2015.
