Baahubali will be adapted into a television show, along the lines of the award-winning popular TV show Game Of Thrones. The series will be written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the writer of Baahubali.
According to reports, the series will follow the seasonal format, with a group of episodes regularly screened for a period of time. After a break to allow further filming, the series will return with new episodes. This is in stark contrast to regular Indian television shows which continue without a break for an extended period of time.

One possible reason for the change in format for the TV version of Baahubali is that a series of this magnitude will require extended VFX sequences.
However, not all of Baahubali’s stars will return for the TV adaptation. It is also likely that SS Rajamouli will direct a few episodes, with new stars. The project is still at the pre-production stage. Vijayendra Prasad is currently writing episodes, and the production team will begin casting once the script has been locked.
