Ajay Devgn’s Raid that released on March 16 has already earned nearly Rs 24 crores in two days all over India. The film, also starring Ileana D’cruz and Saurabh Shukla, is about an income tax officer who is tasked to take on a dreaded politician.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film opened to Rs 10 crores on Friday. The film has had the third highest opening after Padmaavat and PadMan.

On the other hand, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, a film that does not comprise of any A-listers, is inching towards the Rs 100-crore club. Directed by Luv Ranjan, the film released on February 23 and appears to be growing strong nearly a month later.
It opened to Rs 6.42 crores at the Indian box-office, and has earned over Rs 97 crores so far.

And while talks of good openings and Rs 100-crore clubs go around, there’s also the coveted Rs 300-crore club which Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat has entered. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh. Grossing Rs 300 crores in India alone, Padmaavat joins the club which has films like Dangal, Sultan and PK.
