According to a DNA report, the censor board members found some scenes violent, yet they agreed that the dark undertones of the theme demanded a certain amount of violence.
Director Bejoy Nambiar’s previous movie David, which was released in January 2013, had also been cleared with two minor cuts with a U/A (parental guidance) certificate.
The film has Farhan Akhtar, Amitabh Bachchan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Neil Nitin Mukesh in the lead roles.
