Tamil film industry has a long lineage of directors who took up acting roles at some point in their career. Director Suseenthiran is the latest to join the club.
The National Award winning director is now set to act in a film titled Suttu Pidikka Uttharavu. He will be sharing screen space with another Tamil film director, Myskkin.
The film touted to be a crime-thriller will see Vikranth playing the lead role. Athulya Ravi of Kadhal Kan Kattudhe fame is the female lead. The film is directed by Ramprakash Rayappa.
Director Mysskin will be playing an undercover cop while Vikranth and Sussenthiran will play the role of private security personnel.
In his recent tweet, Suseenthiran cited that his new venture as an actor falls on the very same date he started his journey in the Tamil film industry as a director, nine years back. He added that is a very special day for him.
