Bollywood actor Gulshan Grover will dub for the main villain in the dubbed Hindi version of The Big Friendly Giant (BFG), the adventure-fantasy directed and co-produced by Steven Spielberg.
The 60-year-old actor, who has acted in over 400 movies, will dub for the main villain, the Fleshlumpeater, played by actor Jemaine Clement. Actor Amitabh Bachchan is likely to dub for the title character, a good friendly giant, played by Mark Rylance.
The Big Friendly Giant is the movie adaptation of a novel of the same name by Roald Dahl. It narrates the story of a lonely elderly giant who kidnaps an orphan child named Sophie. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 14, 2016.
Reliance Entertainment, a financial partner of Spielberg’s Dream Works Pictures, is distributing BFG in India.
