Isapuri has approached the Delhi High Court claiming damages of Rs.1 crore, from the makers of the Aamir Khan-starrer, said a The Hindu report.  In response, the HC on Thursday sought a response from the producers of the movie, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Raj Kumar Hirani, and asked them to file their replies by September 4.

The filmmakers argue that they had initially registered the script with the writers association on July 29, 2010. Meanwhile, the novelist claims that he first submitted his manuscript in 2009, although the novel was published in 2013.
