I Feel Small In Front Of Films Like Baahubali: Big B

Amitabh Bachchan was all praises after watching the first look of SS Rajamouli’s Telugu epic saga Baahubali. The actor said that some action sequences and frameworks used in the project can only be seen in progressive Hollywood films. Big B added that he would have happily agreed to be a part of the film, which is all set to hit the screens on July 10.

The veteran actor revealed this during video chat with Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati. The 72-year-old Bachchan said he was simply “amazed and astonished” to see such “magnificent visuals”.

“So Rana, I feel very privileged to have seen this first look that you just showed me of Baahubali and I am absolutely amazed and astonished that how you have been able to recreate this magnificent visual. I’m sure of course the story is equally good. You are working with Rajamouli and he is such a renowned talent. How did you conceive something like this? It’s just unimaginable,” he said.

Filmmaker Karan Johar has bought the Hindi theatrical rights of the film which will be released in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, English, French and several foreign languages. The epic saga has actors Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in lead roles.

“I feel so small in front of something like this because it’s a great effort. I doubt if anything like this have been seen on Indian cinema before. I hope that millions and millions of people can see the effort that has been made because it?s truly unimaginable”, BigB told Rana during the video chat.

“We normally see this kind of structure and this kind of action or whatever the framework is in some of the more progressive Hollywood films but to have to see this here in India is amazing,” said Bachchan.
