Jana Gana Mana/JGM is the title of the upcoming pan-Indian film led by Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The announcement was made with the release of the title poster at an event in Mumbai on Tuesday.
The film is scheduled for release on August 3, 2023.
According to a press release issued by the makers, the film is an action drama that is backed by actor-producer Charmme Kaur, filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally and director Puri Jagannadh.
Aside from direction, Puri Jagannadh will also be writing the screenplay and dialogues of JGM. The film will mark the second collaboration of the director with Deverakonda.
The actor and filmmaker are currently working on a sports drama titled Liger, which is scheduled to hit the big screens on August 25. Hindi actor Ananya Panday will be making her Telugu debut with Liger.
Like JGM, Liger is also an action entertainer. Both films are set to have a pan-Indian release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
The press release also notes that the shooting for JGM will commence in April. The film is set to be shot across multiple international locations.
