The official trailer of Margot Robbie’s upcoming film Dreamland was released by Paramount Movies on Thursday.
Robbie is seen portraying Allison Wells, a fugitive bank robber in the backdrop of The Great Depression. The film also stars Finn Cole from Peaky Blinders, in a pivotal role.
The trailer gives a glimpse of Cole’s character finding a wounded Robbie. Cole’s character is shown torn between his growing love for Wells and the bounty on the other side. What follows then is a couple of dramatic minutes showcasing their doomed love story in the midst of all chaos.
The film is directed by Miles Joris-Peyrafitte and the cast includes Travis Fimmel, Garrett Hedlund, Lola Kirke, Kerry Condon, and Darby Camp. The screenplay of Dreamland is written by Nicolaas Zwart while the film is produced by Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara of Lucky Chap Entertainment and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Rian Cahill of Automatik.
Premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, Dreamland drew attention because of its stellar cast, intense background score, and beautiful Southern scenery. The trailer also ensures drama, romance, and suspense in the film.

Dreamland will run in limited cinemas from November 13 and will be released on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and few other streaming platforms on November 17.
Meanwhile, Robbie is also producing Promising Young Woman. It was recently announced that the film will be released this year on Christmas. The film stars Carey Mulligan.
Robbie was last seen in Birds of Prey, which is a follow-up of Suicide Squad that was released in 2016. She will also be seen alongside Christian Bale in David O Russell’s upcoming film, produced by New Regency. However, no update has been given regarding this project yet.
