Rajinikanth hit a million followers on Twitter earlier today. The actor joined the social networking platform on May 5, as part of the promotions for Kochadaiiyaan and sparked a frenzy on the site. While the actor has only tweeted seven times in the past six months, it doesn’t seem to have made much of an impact on his fans.
The account hit a million followers just ahead of the release of Lingaa’s teaser. It is expected that the account will become active once again around the time of Lingaa promotions.
It is also to be noted that the social media account of Rajinikanth is being maintained by Fluence, a leading celebrity digital network management agency.
