Rakul Preet Singh is in consideration to play the female lead in Mahesh Babu’s next. If this does materialise, it will be her second film with Mahesh. The duo earlier shared screen-space in the recently released SPYder.

According to a report in the Deccan Chronicle, the actor is in discussion with the makers of the new project to work out dates for the film. If it does happen, she will replace Pooja Hegde as the heroine.
At present, Rakul has Theeran Adhigaram Ondru with Karthi Sivakumar. She has also signed on to play the female lead in another film with Karthi.
