Ram Gopal Varma on Tuesday night confirmed that his next directorial project will star Akhil Akkineni and will be produced by Akhil’s father and RGV’s good friend Nagarjuna. Taking to Twitter, the filmmaker shared about how life comes to a full circle.
Just love the circle of life @iamnagarjuna produced my debut #Shiva and now after some 25 years I produced Nagarjuna’s #Officer and now in a full circle Nagarjuna is producing @AkhilAkkineni8 ‘s film with me as director

There were speculations some time back about the three collaborating but nothing was confirmed then. RGV also shared that while he thinks Akhil is better than Nagarjuna, he does hope to take care of a few “deficiencies” that he might have.

Hey @iamnagarjuna ,inspite of all the positives I am hoping to take care of @AkhilAkkineni8 ‘s few deficiencies as a director and much more than that I am really hoping that u will take care of my directorial deficiencies as a producer the way u so took care of them in #Shiva

The filmmaker was on a roll about the project, further adding that it would be a highly intense and realistic action film, and not a ‘cute love story’, something that Akhil had been doing in Hello and Tholi Prema.
The @AkhilAkkineni8 film am making is a very highly intense and extremely realistic action film and not at all a young cute love story..it’s a very hard love story at its core but emotionally packaged with a very high degree of sensitive violence mixed with tremendous love

Meanwhile, RGV is directing Nagarjuna in Officer. The duo had previously worked together in critically-acclaimed Telugu films Shiva and Govinda Govinda.
