Actress Rambha dismissed rumours of a split from her husband, news of which dominated social media yesterday. Rambha’s family immediately dismissed such rumours, and the actress herself commented on the issue in an interview with Times Of India. “I just heard from my brother that there was such a rumour going on. If I have filed for divorce, there would be an entry, right? And wouldn’t people have noticed me if I had gone to the court for this? I have two kids, and in fact, I’m about to go and pick up my elder daughter from her school. Everything is fine in my marriage”, the actress clarified.
An earlier ToI report stated that the actress had moved the Chennai Family Court to ‘restore her conjugal rights’.

“Now, Rambha invoked Section 9 of the Hindu Marriages Act, saying she wanted to live with Indran.”, says the report, which goes on to state that the couple have been living separately for some time now.
The actress also revealed that she was amused by such ‘reports’.
Rambha married Sri Lankan national Indiran Padmanathan in 2010. They have two daughters, and reside in Canada. Following her marriage, Rambha quit her acting career. The actress still appears on reality television shows as a judge, and is reportedly looking to make her comeback via the small screen.
