The actress, along with three of her friends who are doctors, started the NGO in 2012. In 2013, she had auctioned some of her personal items from movies to raise funds for Prathyusha. In 2015, the NGO had joined hands with Vijayawada hospitals and a UK hospital to provide cardiac surgeries to 15 children in the city.
