Actor Santhanam is on a signing spree. The actor, who recently wrapped up his next film Server Sundaram, has three untitled movies in his kitty – one each with directors Selvaraghavan, Sethuraman and Pachaiyapan Raja. On Friday, the actor began his next project- Odi Odi Uzhaikanum which is being directed by Manikandan of Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya fame. Santhanam will be playing a cop in this film, which is an action-comedy. Actress Amyra Dastur, who made her debut with Dhanush’s Anegan last year will play the female lead.

Apart from Amyra, Odi Odi Uzhaikanum boasts of a bevy of comedians including Kovai Sarla, RoBo Shankar, Naan Kadavul Rajendran and Anand Raj. Salim Ghouse will play the antagonist in the film which will go on floors on November 7. The talkie portions of the film will be shot in and around Chennai, whereas the songs will be shot in exotic locations abroad. Gibraan will score the music for the film while Gopinath will handle cinematography and Ramaro, editing.

Santhanam is currently shooting for Sethuraman’s untitled film which will see him showcase his action avatar.
