As we had reported earlier, actor-director T Rajendar, who had sent a legal notice to the Romeo Juliet team, has now claimed Rs 1 crore compensation for defaming him through a song – Dandanakka – in the movie.
According to The Times of India, composer D Imman has already received the notice while producer Nandhagopal is yet to receive it. The producer is now gearing up to provide a proper legal response to the notice.

The producer told TOI that the portions in the song that upset TR have been removed and that the team is waiting to show the visuals of the song to the actor. Nandhagopal said that the song was in praise of T Rajender and expressed surprise over why the song did not impress the actor.
T Rajender’s quotes have been used in the song which, reportedly, irked the actor. A source close to him said that removing a few lines from the song would not be of any use as it has already been viewed and listened to over a million times on the Internet.
