Shruti Haasan in Singam III

The third part of the Singam franchise, Singam III will have Shruti Haasan as one of the female leads, along with Anushka, who has been a part of  the previous two installments, confirmed Director Hari, in a an interview to Dinathanthi. Actors like Radha Ravi and Nasser, who played characters in the previous films, will be reprising their roles in Singam III as well.

Shruti Haasan Likely To Be Signed On For Singam 3

Actress Shruti Haasan has been approached by director Hari to play one of the lead roles in his Singam 3, said a The Times of India  report. It is said that actress hasn’t signed the film yet and the Singam 3 team is also looking forward to rope in actress Anushka to play one of the female leads in it. Case Against Shruti Haasan Withdrawn

Picture House Media Ltd has decided to withdraw their case against actress Shruti Haasan. When the actress decided to walk out of the Karthi-Nagarjuna project, the angry producers filed a complaint against her which refrained her from signing any new movies. The actress, however, had to accommodate director Chimbudevan’s Puli as the team was in a tight situation.

Shruti Haasan Joins Karthi’s Next

Shruti Haasan has confirmed that she is a part of the upcoming Nagarjuna – Karthi film. The bilingual project was announced last year and will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally. PVP Cinemas is producing the yet-untitled film. Vamshi and Shruti had earlier collaborated for the Telugu film Yevadu which went on to become a huge success.

Actress Shruti Haasan, working through the Make a Wish Foundation, met with a young girl suffering from terminal liver cancer.  Sheetal Pawar, a 17 year old from Pune, expressed her desire to meet Shruti to the charity. The Make a Wish foundation’s mission is to ‘grant the wishes of children with life-threatening conditions.’

Shruti Haasan turns vegetarian

Actress Shruti Haasan has turned vegetarian recently. The 7aum Arivu star decided to quit eating meat following her father Kamal Haasan’s suggestion. Shruti tweeted:
So thanks to my Bapujis suggestion I’ve become a vegetarian – it’s good! But I do get butter prawns and calamari dreams – that’s normal yea?

Shruti Haasan Sings For Sonakshi

Actress Shruti Haasan has rendered a romantic track for Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming Hindi film Tevar. The music for the film has been composed by Sajid -Wajid and this particular track is said to be a very soulful number. The song was recorded recently and will be shot around the film’s lead pair, Sonakshi Sinha and Arjun Kapoor. Interestingly, the movie is a remake of the hit Telugu flick Okkadu featuring Mahesh Babu and Bhumika.

Shruti Haasan Harassed Again

Actress Shruti Haasan was harassed by a fan during the shoot of her upcoming movie, Yaara, in Dehradun. An inebriated man reportedly tried to force himself inside the room she was staying in. The actress filed a complaint at the local police station the next day, following which a preliminary investigation was launched. Shruti’s manager and the accused were then summoned to the police station to investigate her claims.
