Actor Salman Khan’s legal team clarified on Thursday that the actor had sued self-styled film critic and actor Kamaal R Khan over defamatory remarks made against him and not over a bad review of his latest film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.
The Delhi Court on Tuesday granted interim relief against the piracy of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, starring Salman Khan, while directing WhatsApp and other social media platforms to suspend the accounts of the users who were illegally sharing or selling pirated videos of the film, Live Law reported.
Salman Khan’s latest release Radhe is one of the lowest rated films on IMDb with a 1.8 out of 10, as of May 17. It followed a “hybrid model” of release with a simultaneous release in theatres as well as digitally on Zee5’s pay-per-view premium medium ZeePlex.
Salman Khan, the Hindi actor whose film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai released on May 13, issued a statement on social media on Saturday urging people not to watch the pirated version of the film.
