AR Rahman is also a part of the project, according to reports. A Quint report quoted the film’s casting director, Honey Trehan, as saying that the film will be shot in Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Kashmir. The shooting will begin towards the year-end or early 2017. Trehan said that the film will be a take on ‘relationships and emotional quotients’. The film will feature 8-10 Indian actors in important roles.
Majid Majidi, one of the most celebrated directors from the middle-east, has directed classics like The Children Of Heaven, The Colour of Paradise, and The Song of Sparrows. His films are known for their impressive portrayal of ordinary life in Iran, and their subtle, yet powerful political commentary.
