Actress Trisha is on a high after receiving much praise for her performance in Kodi. There have been many rumours that she may be one of the frontrunners to play the female lead in Pa Ranjith’s next film with Rajinikanth.
Putting these rumours to rest, the actress has said that she has not been approached for the film yet. “I have no clue really! As of now, no one approached me,” she told Deccan chronicle.
Rajinikanth will team up with Kabali director Pa Ranjith once again for this film, while actor Dhanush will produce it through his production house Wunderbar Studios.
Reports suggested that it was Dhanush, who shares a good rapport with Trisha who initiated talks for her inclusion in the film.
Trisha’s year has been a mixed bag so far, with films such as Aranmanai 2 and Nayaki not performing well at the box office.

The actress even went on to accuse the producer of Nayaki of cheating her. The actress was disappointed with the way the final output and chose not to promote the project.
Apart from her upcoming horror film Mohini, Trisha also has three other projects – Sathuranga Vettai 2 with Arvind Swami in the lead, the Tamil remake of NH10 and a film with Vijay Sethupathi in the pipeline.
