Trisha Nominates Vishal and Jiiva

Trisha has nominated actors Jiiva, Vishal and Jayam Ravi for the Clean India campaign. She has also included the members of the Celebrity Cricket League in her invitation. It is to be noted that the actress is an ambassador for the Chennai team. The actress did her bit for the campaign by cleaning an animal home in Mudichur, with volunteers from the Environmentalist Foundation of India. The actors haven’t responded to the invite yet, but are expected to do so soon.

Trisha Krishnan will be doing her bit for the Swachh Bharat initiative by cleaning up an animal home. The actress is an ardent animal lover and has put her own spin on the initiative. While stars like Tamannaah and Samantha Ruth Prabhu helped clean a  dirty suburb in New Delhi, and a government school in Hyderabad, Trisha has teamed up with the Environmentalist Foundation of India to clean an ‘upcoming animal home’ in the city today.

Trisha Clarifies on Engagement Rumours

Trisha Krishnan has spoken out against reports that she is engaged to be married to producer Varun Manian. In an interview to The Times of India, the actress has said, “No, I am not engaged. There is no reason for me to hide it. I cannot get engaged all of a sudden. I have a responsibility to inform my producers and the people I work with. And most importantly, there is no need for me to get engaged secretly. Engagement is a happy occasion and no girl will hide it. So, why would I?” While a photo of the couple made rounds on social media last week, Trisha further clarified, “As another person and his family are involved, I cannot say much about it now. Just posing with your friend doesn’t mean that you are engaged to him. I know Varun and he is my friend, but, it’s too early to say anything now.”

Raai Laxmi Refutes Rumors Of Rift With Trisha

An English daily reported today that actresses Trisha and Raai Laxmi had buried the hatchet after Trisha wished the Aranmanai heroines – Raai Laxmi, Hansika and Andrea  – on the movie’s release.  The newspaper alleged that the two had a falling out on the sets of Ajith’s Mankatha, where Trisha played Ajith’s love-interest and Raai Laxmi was seen in a negative role.

Trisha Krishnan’s debut Kannada flick, Power will release this week. Starring Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar, the film is the remake of the hit Telugu movie Dookudu. Bollywood actor Kelly Dorji plays the villain while actors Prabhu, Sadhu Kokila and Doddanna round up the cast for the mega budget film. The film was launched in December last year and the audio was launched recently by the hero of the Telugu original Mahesh Babu.

Trisha Gets Tattooed For Bhooloham

Trisha Krishnan got temporary tattoos for her role in Bhooloham. The actress, who plays the love interest of boxer Bhooloham (Jayam Ravi) in the movie, underwent a three-hour session with a tattoo specialist. Speaking to us, director Kalyanakrishnan said, “Trisha plays a major fan of Jayam Ravi in the movie and gets many tattoos of him on her body. There’s a very interesting romance scene that I have crafted out of this. It is very playful and not intended to be vulgar at all. The scene will demonstrate the strength of Trisha’s love and admiration for Bhooloham – the boxer.”

Actress Trisha will star in the yet-untitled Suraj directorial opposite actor Jayam Ravi. The film is touted to be an action comedy set against a rural backdrop and features actress Anjali in a comic role. While Anjali will play a village belle, Trisha will reportedly essay the role of a confident and modern lady, and would also be Jayam Ravi’s love interest. The first schedule of the movie began last month and is almost at an end, according to the film’s spokesperson.

Trisha is gratified by the role that she has been offered in the untitled project of Gautham Menon with Ajith as hero, she’s said in an interview with The Hindu recently. The actress, who pairs opposite Ajith after Kireedam and Mankatha, has said that they have tried different looks in the flick and the film has for once made her feel “it’s now or never”. The star, who has been in the industry for about 12 years and who has acted in about 50 films, said that she has never been fussy about choosing scripts, as she understands that a movie is all about entertainment. The 31-year-old actress also revealed that she is pleased about the sort of roles that she has been bagging these days for they help her showcase her talent as a matured artiste.

The actress has a pivotal role in the film and if what we have been hearing is true, she appears in some flashback sequences as Ajith’s girlfriend.
