According to a DNA report, the censor board of film certification deleted the word ‘boobs’ from Kangana-Imran Khan film Katti Batti, terming it inappropriate.
The Nikhil Advani film, which revolves around a couple who are in a live-in relationship, released in theatres on Friday. According to the report, the film was passed with seven cuts, and some abuses were also censored. However, what left the film crew baffled was the deletion of the word ‘boobs’.

This is not the first time the censor board has made it to news for wrong reasons. A few months ago, the board, headed by Pahlaj Nihalani, had listed out cuss words which couldn’t be used in films any more. However, in August, the list was withdrawn after a majority of board members voted against it.
Recently, at an audio launch event, director Mysskin hit out against the censor board, alleging that the certification policies directly curbed artistic expression.
