Yennai Arindhaal Single Track Soon

A single track from Yennai Arindhaal will be released soon. The film’s teaser, which was released recently, created a record by earning two million likes in just 48 hours. As a gesture of thanks to the fans, music composer Harris Jayaraj has decided to release just one song from the movie. He announced the news on his Twitter page.
Also, due to fans request have planned to release the single of “Yennai Arindhaal” soon. Cheers.

Suriya Signs Up For Organ Donation

Following Trisha and Madhavan, actor Suriya has now signed up for organ donation. The actor was at the Dusk to Dawn Marathon, which is conducted to promote awareness and reinforce the importance of organ donation in the city. The actor flagged off the marathon and also participated in it, and ran five kilometres. Suriya also stressed on the benefits of pledging one’s organs, before signing up for the cause himself.

Yennai Arindhaal And I For Pongal 2015

Gautham Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal and Shankar’s I will both release see releases around Pongal 2015.  The dates were officially announced this week, ending months of speculation.  Sources associated with Yennai Arindhaal tell Silverscreen that the Ajith – Gautham Menon film is likely to hit the screens on January 8, because producer AM Rathnam prefers to release his films on Thursdays. Vikram’s I will release on Pongal day – January 15.

Yennai Arindhaal Might Release This Year

Yennai Arindhaal might release this year. Some dance sequences and climax portions are pending, and with five weeks of shoot left, the team is working round the clock to ensure that the film hits screens before the end of the year. The team is also on a promotional spree of sorts now – a first look poster is being released every day to whet the appetite of Ajith fans everywhere. A teaser will reportedly be made available on November 20 and the audio will be launched by the first week of December. If all goes well, the film might release around Christmas.

Bhooloham May Release This Deepavali

Bhooloham may join the Deepavali race this year, according to sources close to the film’s producer. Aascar Ravichandran is reportedly planning on making use of the screens that he had blocked for I to release Bhooloham instead. The film starring Jayam Ravi and Trisha in lead roles has been awaiting release for quite a while now, but was held back due to Aascar Film’s financial woes.

Selvaraghavan, who has been on a self-imposed hiatus of sorts, is back to making films. The director, whose last couple of projects were huge box office disasters, has been lying low for the past few months. He began Alaivarisai with Silambarasan and Trisha earlier this year, but that project too was dropped.

A Lullaby in Ajith 55

The Ajith 55 team recently wrapped up their schedule in north India. According to the film’s composer Harris Jayaraj, the team has been shooting a ‘lullaby song’, which will feature Ajith in his salt-and-pepper look. Child artiste Anikha plays his daughter in the song, and if reports are to be believed, she has accompanied him on this trip up north. The song was shot mostly in Gangtok, while some other scenes were filmed across Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Chandigarh.

Ajith 55 Update

Ajith 55 shooting is progressing rapidly, and the team shot a scene inside a theatre yesterday. According to the film’s DoP, Dan MacArthur, a ‘colourful’ scene featuring Ajith and Trisha was canned along with several hundred junior artistes. He also added that the film looks very ‘cool’.

Amara Kaaviyam moves Nayanthara

Nayanthara was moved to tears by Amarakaaviyam, its director Jeeva Shankar told us.  The actress had watched the film with her friend Anu Vardhan, wife of director Vishnu Vardhan, at a special screening organised by director Jeeva Shankar and actor Arya. She was seen clearly enjoying the film until the interval, director Jeeva recalled. But soon after the screening, was sobbing inconsolably. “Nayanthara looked downcast and I couldn’t see her face. I waited at the threshold looking at her and chose to not disturb her when I found her crying. After a few minutes, she gathered herself again and told me she was moved by the climax,” said an elated Jeeva. The climax was meant to make the audience emotional, he admitted. “I was hoping to execute the scene well so that it will remain powerfully etched in the audience’ minds. And that’s exactly what Nayanthara mentioned too,” shared Jeeva.
