Super Deluxe is a movie starring Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Samantha Akkineni, Ramya Krishnan, Mysskin, Bucks and others, directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja of Aaranjya Kaandam fame. Fans of the cult 2011 hit have been waiting for the second coming of Kumararaja for a while now, and YNot picking up the movie was welcomed through out the film community, and the trailer was released today amid high expectations.

One of the Kollywood’s most successful duo actor Dhanush-director Vetrimaaran recently announced their next film, Asuran with its first look in which Dhanush is seen with tobacco tainted teeth. After the success of their recent movie Vada Chennai, a story based on the life of North Madras gangsters, Vetrimaaran began preparations for making a film based on the novel ‘Vekkai’ written by Tamil writer Poomani.
With the promotions for Maari 2 happening in full swing, the first-look posters of the film were released last week. The character posters of Dhanush, Sai Pallavi, Tovino Thomas, Krishna, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Robo Shankar were unveiled.

STR recently tweeted about his upcoming film, and took all by surprise when he mentioned it would be a September release! Considering the actor’s past history, where directors such as Pandiraj and Gautham Vasudev Menon have spoken about how he’s never on time to the sets, not many took his tweet seriously. But, his close aides say that this time around, STR is serious about the project and is determined to complete this project as per schedule.
Masala Coffee, the YouTube hit band, made their Tamil film debut with “Uriyadi” and remade their already popular song of the same name (albeit in Malayalam) with the help of lyricist GKB.The song has a superb melody that lends itself well to the EDM sounds that follow. Nee begins on a soft note, and ends on a trippy EDM sequence that shows us that Yuvan needs no comeback.
Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is back to form with Aishwarya Dhanush’s Vai Raja Vai and Venkat Prabhu’s Masss, has been roped in to croon a song in the compose-turned-actor GV Prakash’s Trisha Illana Nayanthara. GV Prakash took to Twitter to announce this news and added that the song will be a rocking and peppy number.
Sathish and Manobala also try to add some cheer, but all their lame jokes fall flat. The film totally lacks the thrilling moments that would have made it more exciting. The cinematography by Velraj is impressive and so is the BGM by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has truly made a comeback with his cheerful and lively background score after delivering rocking tunes in the album. Velraj’s frames in the cruise scenes are real good. Taapsee once again impressed with her cameo, but her part was not etched neatly and could have been better. The hints for the sequel are quite evident and we hope the team comes back with a bang next time when they join hands.
Aishwarya Dhanush’s second movie, Vai Raja Vai is all set to hit the theatres on May 1. It will clash at the box office with Kamal Hassan’s Uttama Villain.
STR and music director Yuvan Shankar Raja have now teamed up for a single aimed at ‘jealous people’ (yes!). According to his Twitter conversation with Premgi Amaren, the rough version of the song is ready and Yuvan has started working on the single.
Aishwarya Dhanush has announced that her second directorial venture Vai Raja Vai will be releasing on April 24. Producer Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment had announced on Twitter that the master copy of the film will be ready soon and will get censored by the end of March.
